In a phone shop, ten handsets of the same model differ only by their IMEI. In BuySale each handset is booked in with its own IMEI and warranty term, and at the sale the receipt carries the IMEI and the date the warranty ends. When a customer comes back with the phone, one screen shows when it was sold and how many warranty days are left.
Yes. BuySale has a dedicated phone-shop type, and it differs from an ordinary shop in three places. At intake each handset gets its IMEI and a warranty term in months, and one IMEI can never be given to two handsets. At the sale the warranty turns into an exact date and is printed on the receipt next to the IMEI. And on the Warranty screen you type the IMEI or let the camera read the barcode on the box — the handset’s history is there at a glance.
Everything else works as in the other types: the till on your own phone, credit sales, returns, the evening report and separate permissions for staff. BuySale is not a fiscal cash register: if you need fiscal receipts, it runs alongside your fiscal till.
The phone opens on the Kafolat (warranty) screen with an IMEI entered and the answer showing. Tap the till icon below for sales and the intake form with its IMEI field.
In the phone-shop type every intake is a separate item: even two identical Galaxy A15s are two cards with two IMEIs.
The Warranty screen exists only in phone shops and answers one question: did this handset come from us, and is it still under warranty?
Dial *#06# on the customer’s phone and type the number, or let the camera read the IMEI barcode on the box. The full number is needed.
Either “warranty valid” with the end date and the days left, or “warranty expired” with how many days ago it ran out. Sold without cover, it says so.
When it sold and the receipt total; if a customer was attached to the sale, their name and phone. If the handset was returned, a “returned” line appears.
If the handset is still in the shop, the screen says it has not been sold and is in stock. If the IMEI is not found at all, the phone was not sold by you — or it was booked in without its IMEI.
The warranty stays on paper and in the file.
The receipt prints on a 58 or 80 mm roll through the phone’s or computer’s print dialog. Under the handset’s name come the IMEI and a warranty line — the slip the customer brings back. More on setting up a receipt printer.
Goods that arrive without a box or barcode get an internal code starting with 20 and a printed label. The code works only inside your shop — more on barcodes and labels.
Export the stock as an .xlsx file and the IMEI has its own column. Sold handsets are left out, so the list shows only what you actually hold.
Selling works as usual: scan the item or find it by name, then settle in cash, by card or on credit. Looking up by IMEI happens on the Warranty screen.
The price depends on the shop type; the current one for phone shops is below. Every type and its terms are on the Pricing page, and what other programs charge is in our shop software price study.
The “Phones” type. Charged by the day, no monthly subscription. The number of staff, tills and products does not change the price, and setup is free. 7 days free first. AI assistant questions and reading labels from photos are included. Not a fiscal cash register.
The price is the same for every shop of this type.
Things a phone trader might expect that the software does not have.
No, the field is optional — you can book a handset in without it. But then the Warranty screen cannot find it and the receipt carries no IMEI, so it is best to enter the IMEI at intake or read it from a label photo.
From the day of sale. At intake the warranty is set in months; the moment the sale goes through it becomes an exact date, and that date is printed on the receipt. Month ends are handled: a handset sold on 31 January with one month’s cover is covered until the last day of February.
No. In the phone-shop type every intake is its own card, and if a box barcode repeats, the second handset gets the shop’s own code. Stick a label with that code on the box and the till scans exactly the right one. Add the colour and storage size to the name and the difference shows in the list as well.
There is no interest-bearing instalment plan. You sell the phone on credit against the customer’s number, record each monthly payment as it comes in, and the balance goes down by itself. A credit limit can be set for the customer. A debt created at the till has no due date; for one with a date, use the debt entry screen. If you charge interest or a mark-up, build it into the price yourself.
The receipt is not needed: dial *#06# on the handset, enter the IMEI on the Warranty screen and you see the sale date, the warranty status and — if one was attached to the sale — the buyer. You can also reprint the receipt from the sales history.

No. BuySale’s receipt is the shop’s own sales slip, with no fiscal mark or tax QR code. If you need fiscal receipts, your fiscal till works separately while BuySale keeps the IMEIs, warranties, stock and credit.
