The questions shop owners ask most, grouped by topic. The answers are honest — we do not claim features the product lacks — and each one links to a page with the details.
The price depends on the shop type: Grocery, mini market — 6 630 UZS/day, Phone shop — 6 630 UZS/day, Household goods — 6 630 UZS/day, Jewellery shop — 6 666 UZS/day, Perfume shop — 6 666 UZS/day, Hardware shop — 7 000 UZS/day, Clothing shop — 8 000 UZS/day, Pharmacy — 10 000 UZS/day; a type that is not listed goes under “Other” at 6 630 UZS/day. Billing is daily, so a 6 630 UZS per day plan comes to 198 900 UZS over 30 days. You start with 7 days free and no payment card is needed.
No. No payment card is asked for, so nothing is charged automatically. After the 7-day trial you top up the balance yourself and one day’s price comes off it each day; if the balance runs out and the service stops, those days are not charged. Prices and billing rules are on the pricing page.
No. There are 7 days free, after which daily billing starts based on your shop type. In return everything is unlocked: no paid modules, no setup fee and no per-employee charge. What “free” programs really cost is in a separate comparison.
The AI assistant is part of the daily price and is not sold as an add-on. Only for jewellery and perfume shops are AI questions (100 UZS) and label reading (10 UZS) charged separately. Those requests are charged during the trial too. There is a daily limit on the number of questions. What you can ask it is on the AI assistant page.
No separate sign-up is needed: branches are opened from the main shop’s cabinet and all are paid from one balance — each open branch adds 6 630 UZS a day. Each branch has its own stock, till and staff, and the evening Telegram report brings the main shop, each branch and the total together. There is no in-app report that shows all branches on one screen yet. More on the branches page.
No. You can stop at any time; your data is kept and you continue from where you left off when you come back. There is one exception: if after the service stops there is no top-up and no sign-in for 6 months, the account may be deleted — and we warn you at least 30 days before.
No. Open app.buysale.uz, enter your phone number and sign in with the code sent to Telegram — the shop opens straight away. It works online anywhere in Uzbekistan, and installation and setup are free. The steps are in the getting-started guide.
The owner needs Telegram: the sign-in code comes only through @buysalerpbot, never by SMS, and the evening report arrives there too. Staff sign in with the shop’s number and a 4-digit PIN, so they do not need Telegram.
Yes. The app runs in Uzbek (Latin), Uzbek (Cyrillic) and Russian, and you can switch the language under Profile at any time. There is no English interface in the app.
Daily work comes down to three or four screens: the till, goods-in, recording a debt and the report. The app has its own training section that walks through each part with sample data and saves nothing. If a question comes up, message us on Telegram or call — see contacts.
Yes. Old debts go in at one sitting on the “Record a debt” screen: name, phone, amount, due date and what was taken. A single sentence works too — typed in Uzbek, “Karim akaga 120 ming shanbagacha” fills in the name, amount and due date. New debts are then recorded right at the till — see the guide to managing credit.
Yes, but there is no automatic transfer: products come in from the catalogue, from a label photo and with the scanner, and debts are entered by hand. Most shops start with their best sellers and add the rest as they sell. The process is on the switching page.
Yes. BuySale runs in your phone browser, and there are apps for Android and Windows that work offline for up to 7 days. The phone camera reads barcodes, so a separate scanner is not required. If you need receipts or labels, they print through the print dialog on a printer connected to the phone or computer.
The phone camera reads EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code-128, Code-39 and QR. Data Matrix marking codes, ITF-14 on cartons and PDF417 are not read. The full list and tips are on the phone scanner page.
Not directly: BuySale has no ESC/POS and no Bluetooth link of its own — receipts and labels print through the browser’s print dialog. If your phone or computer sees the printer as a printer, the receipt comes out from that dialog. Setup is in the receipt printer guide.
Yes, with the right permission. Haggling at the till is a separate permission: the seller types the agreed total in sums, the discount is spread across the items in the cart and profit is counted from that price. No ready-made set except “Manager” includes it, so a seller cannot lower prices until you grant it.
No. BuySale is not connected to bank terminals, UZCARD/HUMO processing or QR payment systems: it does not send the amount to the terminal and does not know when money arrives. The terminal or QR app takes the payment, and in BuySale you finish the sale with the “Card” payment type — the report keeps it separate from cash. More on the till page.
Each product has a “running low” threshold — set by shop type or by you. When stock drops below it, the item shows separately on the home screen and in stock, and low items turn into a supplier order list. Jewellery and phone shops do not get this list, because every item there is one of a kind.
Yes, in the types that track expiry — grocery, pharmacy, perfume and “Other”: each delivery is its own batch with its own date, and the batch that expires first is sold first. Anything with a week or less left is listed on the home screen. More on the inventory page.
Yes — in the phone shop type. Every handset is stocked with its IMEI, one IMEI cannot be recorded for two handsets, and the receipt shows the IMEI and the warranty date. On the Warranty screen you type or scan an IMEI to see when the handset was sold, how many warranty days are left and — if a customer was picked at the sale — who bought it. More: IMEI and warranty in a phone shop.
Usually not. The central catalogue holds more than 1,700 verified products (as of 3 October 2026): scan the factory barcode at goods-in and, if the product is in the catalogue, the name and section fill in. If it is not, fill the form from a label photo or type the name yourself — see the barcode guide.
Yes. You scan the shelf one tag after another, and the count is saved on the server — you can stop and carry on from another phone. At the end you get a list of differences and the stock is corrected from it. The steps are in the stocktaking guide.
No — there is no import from a file (Excel or CSV), and we say so up front. The reverse works: the whole stock list downloads as an .xlsx file in one tap. Quick ways to enter your list are on the moving-from-Excel page.
Yes. In the customer credit book every credit sale is stored with the customer, amount and due date, and overdue debts are listed separately on the home screen. Partial payments are deducted automatically, so you do not need a separate debt-book app. No SMS or call goes to the customer on its own: the app prepares the list of who to remind.
No. Neither an SMS service nor calling is connected: the app prepares the list of who to remind, when and what to say, and you make the call. Debt reminders are not sent through Telegram either. How to collect is covered in the credit guide. Ready reminder texts are on the debt collection page.
Yes, once they connect to the Telegram bot through the shop’s link: the bot has “Xaridlarim” (my purchases) and “Qarzim” (my debt) buttons, and after a credit sale the receipt reaches them automatically. That cuts down the “I never took that much” arguments. More on the credit book page.
Yes. Selling on credit, seeing debts, recording a debt and taking payments are four separate permissions. A seller without the right sells only for cash or card. More in the staff permissions guide.
Yes, in a separate section: which supplier, how much, what for and by when. Payments reduce the balance, and the home screen shows “owed to me” and “I owe” side by side. More on the supplier debts page.
You grant permissions to each employee separately. The ready-made “Till only”, “Seller” and “Senior seller” sets include no price changes, no cost prices and no reports — the employee does not see them until you switch them on. The balance and the staff list stay with the owner only. More in the staff permissions guide.
The app works out how much cash should be in the till: opening cash + cash sales + debt payments − cash refunds − expenses. When the shift is closed, any gap with the counted cash shows at once and stays in the history with the name of whoever closed it. More on the staff oversight page.
No. On their own phone the employee chooses the staff sign-in and enters the shop’s number and the 4-digit PIN you gave them. When they sign in, you get a Telegram message — you can switch it off. Adding staff costs nothing extra: the price depends on the shop type, not on how many sellers you have.
The Android and Windows apps work offline for up to 7 days: sales, debts and payments are queued and sent to the server automatically once the connection is back. The web version in the browser needs internet. What to do in the shop when the connection drops is on a separate page.
Yes, through the browser: open app.buysale.uz in Safari and choose “Add to Home Screen” — you get its own icon and it opens like an app. There is no separate App Store app. The steps are on the apps page.
It does: in Chrome or Edge BuySale installs as its own window, with no installer file. A USB barcode scanner works on the computer too, and reports and stock are easier on a big screen.
Telegram is how BuySale talks to you: the sign-in code, the evening report and the low-balance warning arrive in the @buysalerpbot bot, and customers who follow the shop’s link see their own debt there. It is not an online store in Telegram — there is no catalogue or ordering for buyers. More about the evening report on the reports page. What the bot does and does not do is on the Telegram page.
Each shop’s data is stored separately and is visible only to accounts belonging to that shop. Data lives on the server, so losing a phone does not lose your records.
No. BuySale does not issue fiscal receipts and is not connected to the tax system — the printed receipt is a plain sales slip. Your fiscal till keeps working as before, while BuySale tracks stock, profit and customer credit alongside it. Which till the law requires is covered in Do I need a cash register?.
No. A fiscal receipt comes only from an online till or a virtual till; BuySale is not connected to them and does not replace them — it sits alongside and tracks stock, profit and credit. The difference is explained on the fiscal till vs software page.
No. BuySale sends nothing to state systems and does not prepare tax returns. Sales and expenses for the chosen period download as a comma-separated CSV file that can go to your accountant; open it in Google Sheets or in Excel via “Data → From Text/CSV”. More on the reports page.
No. The scanner does not read Data Matrix marking codes, and BuySale is not connected to the Asl belgisi system — the software sends nothing to any state system. In BuySale such goods are tracked by the ordinary barcode on the pack (EAN or UPC), or, if there is none, by an in-store code with a printed label. Check with the tax office (soliq.uz) or your accountant which of your goods fall under mandatory marking — see marking and IKPU.
