Shop accounting via Telegram: reports, sign-in codes and debts in one bot

BuySale’s Telegram bot, @buysalerpbot, brings the shop owner what matters: the sign-in code arrives there instead of by SMS, the day’s sales and profit come in every evening, you know the moment a seller signs in, and customers can check their own debt. To be clear: this is not a service for opening an online store in Telegram — there is no catalogue or ordering for shoppers.

The short answer

Yes — with one distinction worth knowing. The bookkeeping itself — till, stock, credit — lives in the BuySale app: in a browser (app.buysale.uz), the Android app or on a computer. Telegram is its front door and inbox: the sign-in code, the evening report, staff sign-ins and the balance warning land in the bot, while credit-sale receipts go through the same bot to the customer. You can log a debt or ask a question by writing to it.

This is not opening a shop (an online store) in Telegram: a shopper cannot pick goods in the bot and place an order, and no payment is taken inside Telegram. The bot is for the shop owner and for customers the shop has connected through its own link.

What the Telegram bot sends a shop owner

All in one chat — @buysalerpbot. Shop messages go to the owner; a customer gets only their own receipts and balance.

A sign-in code, not an SMS

Enter your number in the app and a six-digit code arrives in the bot, valid for five minutes; tap it to copy. The code goes only to a shop owner whose number Telegram itself has confirmed.

The evening report

At the hour you pick (18:00 to 23:00, usually 22:00) the day’s summary arrives: sales and receipt count, cash, card and credit, profit (net of expenses if you log them), new credit and what debtors paid, and items running low. More in reports and profit.

A seller signed in

The moment an employee signs in with their PIN, their name and the time come through; signing in again within half an hour does not repeat it. Several wrong PINs in a row trigger a warning too. You can switch these off in settings — see staff oversight.

Balance running out

A few days before the balance runs out, a warning arrives, so the service never stops by surprise. Prices and terms are on the Pricing page.

Customers see their own debt

You send the customer the link from their card. Once they tap it, the bot ties them to their record in your shop: receipts for sales involving credit reach them by themselves, and the “Xaridlarim” (my purchases) and “Qarzim” (my debt) buttons show recent purchases and the balance — see customer credit.

Logging a debt by message

Write to the bot something like “Karim akaga 120 ming, shanbagacha” (120 thousand to Karim, by Saturday) and the debt is recorded: name, amount and due date. For a new debtor add their phone number — the bot will ask for it.

Ask a question

A message ending in a question mark goes to the AI assistant: “What was today’s profit?” The answer is built from your shop’s own data. In some shop types each question is charged: jewellery — 100 UZS, perfume — 100 UZS. More on the AI assistant.

A code to reset a stocktake

The confirmation code for restarting a stocktake goes only to the owner’s Telegram, so no employee can wipe hours of counting with one tap.

How to connect it

Set it up once and it runs on its own.

01

Open the bot, link your number

Open @buysalerpbot in Telegram and press Start, then enter your number in the app and ask for a code. If the number is not linked yet, the bot shows a “send number” button — one tap and the code arrives in the chat.

02

Pick the report hour

In Profile, under the evening report, you choose an hour between 18:00 and 23:00, preview what the message will look like and test it with the send-now button.

03

Give customers the link

Copy the link from the customer’s card and send it through Telegram or as an ordinary text from your phone. The customer just taps it — you do not need to know their Telegram number.

This is not an online store in Telegram

Many people searching for a “Telegram shop” want to sell their goods through a bot. BuySale does a different job.

Questions about running your shop via Telegram

Can I open a shop in Telegram and sell through the bot?

No. BuySale is software for your shop’s internal books, not an online store builder: there is no catalogue, basket or ordering for shoppers, and no payment is taken inside Telegram. The bot carries messages to the owner and shows customers their own debt.

Why doesn’t the sign-in code come by SMS?

The code is not sent by SMS — only through the Telegram bot, and there is no charge for it. That is why the shop owner needs Telegram. Sellers do not: they sign in with the shop’s number and a PIN.

The evening report is not arriving. What should I do?

Check three things: you pressed Start in the bot and linked your number with the send-number button; the evening report is switched on in Profile with the right hour; and the send-now button there delivers the message immediately. The report comes once a day.

How does a customer see their debt in Telegram?

Send them the link from their customer card. When they open the bot through it, they are tied to their record in your shop and see their current balance straight away. After that the “Qarzim” button shows the debt and “Xaridlarim” the last ten purchases and the month’s total. Every sale involving credit sends them its receipt automatically.

Can I add a debt by messaging the bot?

Yes, in text — for example “Karim akaga 120 ming, shanbagacha”. The bot picks out the name, amount and due date, records the debt and replies that it is done. If the customer is not on your list yet, add their phone number to the message. Voice messages are not accepted yet.

What language does the bot write in?

Sign-in codes and staff messages come in the language you chose in the app: Uzbek (Latin or Cyrillic) or Russian. The evening report and messages to customers are in Uzbek (Latin) only for now.

Could my shop data leak to a stranger through the bot?

Sign-in and confirmation codes go only to an owner whose number Telegram itself has confirmed — a stranger opening the link gets no code. A customer sees only their own purchases and debt: the code in their link is signed, so it cannot be altered to reach someone else’s record.
